Along the road that comes down from Assisi to they goes finds to little minuteren Saint Maria of the Angels. The imposing basilica constructed between the 1569 and the 1679 in order protect the Nail head of the Porziuncola. The statue of the Madonna in golden bronze is work of G. Colasanti. The Porziuncola was donated from the Benedictines a S. Francisco so that  repaired it and  guarded it.
